Jay's Siberian Iris in his riverside garden

Jay helping granddaughters Bri and Elsa start
morning glory seeds. They did super well and bloomed
by their pool all summer!

One of Pam's perennial gardens. Oriental poppies grow
well here, and are Eli's birthday flower, since they
bloom in mid-June.

Steppin' Out Iris

Seaver and barn kittens. I watched their stray
mama come down the wooded hillside one day,
moving them one by one through these ventilation
openings of our barn. Found homes for all
of them. That was two summers ago and Seaver
still checks these windows for his little friends.

Perfect northern Michigan spring meal:
fresh asparagus, morel mushrooms, fresh-caught
trout...mmmm....
